About Us . . . "The last of the innocents"

Quoting Mrs. Ghiglieri who in 1988 said this about our class . . .

This was the last class to graduate before one world ended and another began. You left Hononegah in the spring of 1963, and in November of that year the first of the assassinations happened: Kennedy, King, and Kennedy. Vietnam and the general turbulence of the late '60's and early '70's opened a new world. I have always thought of this class as the last of the innocents.”

We have seen a lot of changes, both personally as well as citizens of this great country.

Hononegah high school has grown to over 2000 students, our communities have seen tremendous growth, and we have grown too.

We have had careers and many of us have retired from those careers!

Our families have changed, we have had children and grandchildren, we have lost parents, family members, and we have lost classmates.

The good news is that some things don't change.  The fun we have had together as a class still happens!  We enjoy reminiscing about the past as well as finding out what's new.
